The short version

Keirsdad is a small collection of productivity tools. They are built by one person. They work offline. They do not track you. They are designed to be useful and then get out of the way.

Why this exists

Most productivity software is built to maximise engagement — notifications, streaks that guilt you, dashboards full of metrics about your metrics. The tools get in the way of the work.

Keirsdad tools are built on a different assumption: the best tool is the one you barely notice. It should do what you need, hold your data safely, and never demand your attention.

How it is built

Each tool is a standalone web app that runs entirely in your browser. Data is stored in IndexedDB on your device. There is no server involved unless you opt into sync.

The sync layer uses Dexie Cloud for real-time, encrypted data synchronisation. When sync is enabled, your data is encrypted before it leaves your device.

The tools are built with React, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript. The marketing site you are reading now is a static Next.js site.

Privacy stance

There are no analytics on any Keirsdad tool or page. No cookies. No tracking pixels. No third-party scripts. The tools make zero network requests unless you enable sync.
